I am originally from a small farming town located in Pennsylvania. My background includes 7 years of critical care nursing prior to obtaining my Family Nurse Practitioner license in Hawaii from Hawaii Pacific University in 2010. As a Nurse practitioner I have practiced as a cardiology & urgent care nurse practitioner. In May 2016 I completed a post-masters certificate in acute care medicine from Northern Kentucky University.
I have a true passion for traveling and exploring the world and all the various cultures there is to experience. I arrived to Alaska in 2010 and can honestly say this is now home for me as I enjoy everything Alaska has to offer which includes anything that has to do with the outdoors such as hiking/backpacking, biking, snowboarding, snow-machining, four-wheeling, etc. I have a two dogs that accompany me on my many adventures here in the last frontier.
