Trisha graduated with her Master’s in Nursing specializing in Family Medicine in 2019 from Frontier Nursing University. She has been a nurse since 2009 and worked in various types of diverse settings such as cardiac step-down, mother/baby, electrophysiology, PACU, and ICU. She married her husband in 2012, who was stationed in Anchorage. After a brief move, they returned to Alaska in 2020 where she began her career as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner working in a skilled nursing facility. She gained extensive experience working with older adults suffering from chronic health conditions and it was there that she gained a passion for wound care. Trisha then began traveling, treating complex wounds and serving her community. In June of 2025, she joined The Alaska Hospitalist Group where she is enjoying working with higher acuity patients. Trisha and her husband are raising five busy children. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling when she can.
