Dr. Strohmeyer was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska. He attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington for his undergraduate education. After graduation, he worked in a nonmedical field but realized he had a passion for medicine and decided to go back to school to pursue his medical education. Dr. Strohmeyer attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania and returned to Spokane in 2017 to complete his residency in internal medicine.
Dr. Strohmeyer’s goal has been to practice in his home state to give back to the community he grew up with, and is excited to be back in Alaska to share fishing, hiking, camping, skiing, and everything outdoors with his family.
