Nurse Practitioners

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska – I am actually a 3rd generation Alaskan. I obtained my undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing) from University of Alaska Anchorage in 2008 and began my first nursing job at Providence Alaska Medical Center. I then met my now husband in 2011 while he was stationed at JBER. We spent the next 5ish years moving around the lower 48 (Oklahoma, Colorado and then Texas) while he finished his commitment to the Army and then went to law school. While in Lubbock, Texas for my husbands’ schooling, I decided it would be a good time to also get my master’s degree. I graduated in August of 2018 with my Adult Gerontological Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner, MSN.

I have been a nurse for roughly 10 years, working in the fields of Nephrology, Emergency/Trauma, Cardiac ICU, as well as Medical and Surgical ICU. I completed all of my Master’s preparation in the ICU setting and am excited to come finally come home to Alaska.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 kids, hiking, working out, cooking, camping, volunteering and of course vacationing in warmer weather.
