Hospitalist

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and adopted before the age of one and raised throughout the south: Georgia, both South and North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and I would claim Florida as “home.”

My undergraduate degree was in kinesiology/exercise science at Louisiana State University on a full-athletic scholarship for gymnastics. This was during the time of Hurricane Katrina – the spark that fueled me to pursue medicine.

I took a unique opportunity for medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. The first two years I studied in Dominica (amazing study breaks in the Caribbean) and finished up my clinical rotations throughout the Northeast at numerous hospitals in Connecticut and New York.

I received internal medicine residency training at the University of Nevada in Reno. Just 45 minutes away from Tahoe, I learned to ski, mountain bike, and continued to rock climb on my days off. I fell in love with the mountains and TAHG offered a career in an incredible outdoor environment – lots of mountain adventures to come!
