Dr. Ellison was born and raised in rural Southeast Alaska. He attended the University of Alaska in Juneau for his undergraduate degree and earned his medical degree through the University of Washington. He attended residency here in Anchorage. In addition to working as a hospitalist, Dr. Ellison returns to his hometown of Klawock to work in the village’s clinic. In his off time he enjoys aviation, backcountry skiing, fishing, hunting, and exploring with his daughter and two dogs.
