I grew up in Sweden, but met my future husband while volunteering for the U.S. Forest Service in SE Alaska. After completing medical school at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, I moved to the U.S. and did my residency in Marquette, MI. My husband and I had always been looking for the right opportunity to return to Alaska, and so after a dozen years working as a hospitalist in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we are happy to be back.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, running, reading, drawing, traveling back home to Sweden to see my family, and spending time with our two children and numerous pets.
