Brian Jeppesen, MD

Hospitalist

I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.  As a kid, I enjoyed scouting adventures, hiking the Cascade Mountains, and backcountry skiing Washington’s volcanoes. I went to Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, studying biochemistry and researching proteins involved in Alzheimer’s disease. My wife and I met at Western; she spent her childhood summers commercial fishing in SE Alaska with her family. After a year working in a research biochemistry lab, we moved to Portland, Oregon for medical school.  While at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), I spent a year in the pathology department performing autopsies and surgical pathology. I completed internal medicine residency at OHSU and we moved to Anchorage, AK to join The Alaska Hospitalist Group (TAHG). I currently serve as the Hospitalist President for TAHG.
