I grew up in Lake City, Minnesota, then migrated to Duluth for Undergraduate and Medical School, finishing medical school in Minneapolis. I spent a year in both Australia and Ecuador during that of time of study, picking up some Spanish in Ecuador. After residency in Anchorage, I worked in Bethel, Kodiak, and Seward for 5 years before joining The Alaska Hospitalist Group in 2012. My wife and I stay busy with our two awesome daughters. I enjoy hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and a variety of ski associated activities in the winter. I feel quite fortunate to be living in Alaska, and to be part of The Alaska Hospitalist Group family.
