I was born in Anchorage, but left Alaska when I was young. After 19 moves in 16 different states, I moved back to Alaska in 2003. I graduated from UAA in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I went to the University of Washington Medical School through the Alaska WWAMI program from 2009-2013. I completed my residency at the Alaska Family Residency Program in 2016. Throughout my medical training, I found that I had a passion for managing the various complex medical problems and patients that are the hallmark of hospital medicine. I was honored to be offered a position with The Alaska Hospitalist Group immediately after residency, where I currently serve as the Hospitalist Medical Director at St. Elias Specialty Hospital.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons, exploring all the unique and beautiful places that Alaska has to offer. I also enjoy baking, reading and bargain hunting.
