I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK, but left to obtain my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Western Washington University. I received my medical training through the University of Washington with the WWAMI program. I went to on do my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado with a focus on hospital medicine as part of the hospitalist track. My love for the outdoors brought me back to the great state of Alaska, and in 2018 I enthusiastically accepted a position with The Alaska Hospitalist Group. When I’m not working, you can find me on the local trails- hiking, biking, or skiing, often with our dogs, and occasionally with a kid or two in tow.
