I was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida alongside my five brothers and sisters. My passion for travel was ignited in high school after spending a year in Brazil as an exchange student. After returning from Brazil, I attended the University of Central Florida where I completed an additional year of university in Germany learning about the language and culture. After my travels, I decided I would pursue medicine as a career. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida.
I subsequently went to the University of South Florida where I earned my medical degree. I attended several years of general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee and then ultimately completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!).
After finishing residency, my husband and I were excited for a new adventure and embarked on our journey for Alaska. I am excited to be working together with a great group of people at TAHG.
In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, hiking, kayaking, biking, and camping.
